Planetarium is a bold and innovative project that could potentially revolutionize the way we study, simulate, and explore our universe through an astrophysical and exobiological engine, employing procedural generation techniques to create diverse biomes, planets, systems, and galaxies.
The full process of designing and developing has the collaboration of people from IMEF - Instituto de Matemática e Física and C3 - Centro de Ciências Computacionais from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande.
With Planetarium, you can create your own systems according to your preferences, and even interact with them in real-time as you learn some fundamentals with lessons and demonstrative simulations. Alternatively, you can choose from different pre-defined simulations such as artificial satellites, planets, stars, moons, comets, asteroids, systems, and galaxies.
A real simulator, built on a foundation of physical and biological coherence, with a 1:1 data metric used throughout the entire simulation.
